We welcome inquires so if you don't see your question answered here feel free to contact us. We are happy to help!

1. I Don't See Your Rates. How Much Are Your Programs?

Because every dog is unique and has its own temperament and behavior, we offer a free consultation to have one our trainers meet you in person to determine which of our programs would be the most effective for your dog’s training. Contact us today to schedule your free consultation and take the first step towards achieving results for your furry four-legged friend.

2. Do you guarantee your training?

Yes, we guarantee our training if the program is followed as instructed by the trainer.

3. Why do you use prong training collars?

We use Herm Sprenger prong training collars because we find them to be the best tool for communicating and creating a harmonious relationship with the least amount of physical stress to the dog and owner. While prong training collars tend to look horrible, when used correctly, they have been proven to be the least physically taxing, most humane, and one of the safest tools available.

4. Why do you use e-collars? How do you train with an e-collar?

When used properly this low level stimulation has great benefits and reinforces commands. It is used during our training programs as a gentle reminder to your dog. During off leash training it ensures the safety of your dog as they will immediately respond to this gentle stimulation.

5. My dog is fearful and nervous – I shouldn’t use a remote training collar with him, right…?

Actually, modern E-collar training is an incredibly effective training method for dogs who struggle with behavioral issues. Whether your furry friend deals with anxiety, fear, or aggression, our E-Collar training system is specifically designed to create a safer and more comfortable environment for them to learn and grow in while off leash.

E-collar training helps dogs become more confident, relaxed, and at ease in any situation. If your dog struggles with behavior problems for years, our E-Collar training can help your furry companion thrive and enjoy life off leash.

6. Which remote training collars do you recommend?

We use the mini educator by e-collar technologies. They also offer a two dog system, as well as a three or more dogs. After using this collar for years, we have found it to be the best. Why? It’s durable, both the remote and receiver are both completely water proof (the remote even floats if dropped in water), outstanding customer service, and it’s wide range of settings. The mini educator also has the ability to work at many levels going from 0-100. The cheap knock off remote collars are quite painful even at the lowest setting, however with the mini educator we have found the level used with dogs is subtle that it’s not even felt by people. Using this ecollar system allows owners to trust their dogs off leash in any envirnment.

7. Do you work with aggressive dogs?

Yes, we specialize in aggression rehabilitation, and we are proud to say that we are one of the very few places in Virginia that provide successful, long-lasting rehabilitation solutions for problem dogs, regardless of their breed or background. We have years of experience in dealing with all types of aggressions, and our team is composed of trainers who always prioritize welfare and safety. We use up-to-date methods so that owners can trust their dog off leash. So if you’re a dog owner struggling with a pet’s aggression, rest assured that we’re here to help.

8. My dog is uncontrollable on the walk – pulling, lunging, barking, growling – can you fix this?

We consistently get great results with all levels of canine behavior issues, ranging from mild pulling and occasional disobedience, to severe dog reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. Our tried and tested methods have been proven to work effectively, ensuring a noticeable difference in your dog’s behavior that will last for the long-term.

9. I have tried other trainers before and didn’t get the results I desired – what makes your program and approach different and more effective?

Unlike other training approaches that only focus on developing rehearsed behaviors, bribing with treats, or merely managing/bandaid-ing the problem, we have developed a unique approach that fundamentally changes the dog’s state of mind. By cultivating new habits, teaching the dog to make better choices, training calmness instead of excitability, we are consistently successful with dogs that others are unable to help. This will be the last dog training you will ever need.
